For the Ham:
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan, flat side down, and cover with aluminum foil. Let the ham roast for 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F. Remove the ham from the oven and remove the foil. Drain any liquid that has collected in the roasting pan.
- Flip the ham onto its side to let the slices shingle.
For the Glaze:
- While the ham roasts, add all the glaze ingredients into a saucepan set over medium-high heat. Whisk well and reduce the glaze to about 2 cups.
For the Garnish:
- Prepare the bacon using your preferred method. Pat dry with paper towels and chop roughly to the size you want.
To Combine the Ham and Glaze:
- Increase the oven temperature to 450°F.
- Liberally brush the glaze in between each slice and all over the ham, saving some glaze for later.
- Roast in the oven for 10 minutes, while basting and brushing with the extra glaze.
To Serve:
- Plate the spiral ham on a serving dish and sprinkle the POM Wonderful Pomegranate Arils and chopped crispy bacon over it.
